Litigation & Arbitration in Tenerife & Fuerteventura
Civil and commercial disputes — negotiated first, litigated properly when needed.
Some disputes only respect a court date.
What we handle
- Contract disputes, breach and interpretation
- Debt litigation from demand to enforcement
- Construction defects and builder liability
- Tenancy disputes and eviction proceedings
- Professional negligence and liability claims
- Cross-border cases and foreign judgments
- Arbitration and mediation, where they fit
- Precautionary embargoes to secure assets
We negotiate first — most disputes deserve it. And when only a courtroom will settle it, we litigate with more than twenty-five years of trial practice behind the file.
The firm litigates civil and commercial matters across the islands: contract breaches, unpaid debts, construction defects, tenancy disputes, professional negligence and the cross-border cases where a foreign party, judgment or asset is involved. Arbitration and mediation included — the venue is strategy, not habit.
First instance runs before the courts of Arona, Granadilla de Abona and Puerto del Rosario; appeals go to the Audiencias Provinciales of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas. Foreign judgments are enforced here under the EU rules — in both directions.
Three stories we hear every week.
"The builder disappeared with our reform half done."
"I have a judgment from home. He has a flat in Tenerife."
"They keep “negotiating” while the delay costs us money."

Absolutely brilliant. I had been struggling in a dispute with a private health company. It took less than an hour for Olga to resolve it. Thank you.
Highly recommend. Our main contact provided excellent communication, detailed explanation of what was needed and why. All made very simple — no issues.
Professionalism and reliability.

Disputes — what clients ask first.
Is litigation worth it for smaller amounts?
Sometimes — Spanish procedure has streamlined tracks for smaller claims, and in many the loser pays costs. We run the numbers honestly at the start: if a claim is not economically rational, we say so.
How long does a civil case take?
From several months to a few years, depending on track, court load and appeals. We give a realistic range for your specific claim — and design the strategy around interim measures when time is the real enemy.
Can you enforce my foreign judgment in Spain?
EU judgments enforce almost directly; others go through recognition first. With assets located — property, accounts, vehicles — enforcement becomes practical, and locating them is part of the work.
What are precautionary measures?
Court orders that hold the situation while the case runs — embargoes, registry annotations, deposit orders — so that a win is not symbolic. They are requested early, usually with the claim itself.
