Commercial Law in Tenerife & Fuerteventura
Companies, contracts and everyday counsel for businesses on both islands.
Every business deserves a lawyer who knows it.
What we handle
- Company formation: SL, branches and holdings
- Shareholder agreements and director duties
- Commercial contracts, drafted and reviewed
- Distribution, agency and franchise deals
- Debt recovery from invoices to enforcement
- Business purchases, transfers and traspasos
- Hospitality and tourism sector contracts
- Ongoing counsel as your external legal team
From incorporation to the contract you sign next week — we are the outside counsel that small and mid-size businesses in the islands call first.
The firm advises companies, branches and self-employed professionals across Tenerife and Fuerteventura: hospitality, trade, services and the businesses international owners run from abroad. Formation, shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, distribution and agency, debt recovery — the everyday law of running a company, in your language.
That work runs through the Mercantile Registries of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas, the notaries and the tax agencies — and, when trading partners fail, the commercial courts. We handle the paperwork and the disputes both.
Three stories we hear every week.
"I run my Canarian company from abroad — I need someone on the ground."
"A client owes us four invoices and stopped answering."
"My partner and I never signed anything about what happens if we disagree."

Commercial — what clients ask first.
What does forming an SL involve?
Name certificate, share capital, notarial deed and registration at the Mercantile Registry — plus the tax and labour registrations that actually let you operate. We run the full sequence and tell you the realistic timeline up front.
Can you act as our regular external counsel?
Yes — that is most of our commercial practice: contracts reviewed before signature, questions answered as they arise, and a lawyer who already knows your business when something urgent lands.
How do you recover unpaid invoices?
Documented demand first — many debts settle there — then the court procedure suited to the amount, up to enforcement against the debtor's assets. We tell you honestly when a debt is not worth chasing.
We're buying an existing business. What should we check?
A traspaso or share purchase needs the same discipline as a property: contracts, licences, debts, employees and lease terms verified before signature. Surprises in a business transfer are always cheaper to find before.
